Lyptus (short for Eucalyptus) is a new species selection that we are offering on select
items of furniture. This material is a plantation-grown exotic lumber species that is
grown and harvested following sustainable forest certification standards. It is a striking
wood with grain comparable to mahogany or cherry and it is extremely dense and
durable. It tools very well and takes a finish beautifully. We are proud to offer this new wood species to our customers and encourage you to ask any questions you may have.
