It is with great sadness that we have to inform all who admired him that Sammy passed away during emergency surgery on Saturday May 15, 2010. Sammy was loved by many and was not only a part of our personal family, but our family of employees and customers as well. If Sammy could speak to you all we think he might say "Life is short - chase all the rabbits you can!". We love you Sam. Sammy is a male Samoyed who Rod & Lisa adopted from the Capital Area Humane Society in 2004 when he was estimated to be 4 years old. Sammy is a handsome fellow and one of the most gentle dogs you will ever meet and he has a very loyal fan base who enjoy stopping into our store to visit with him. Sammy often greets customers at the door and soon charms most folks into rubbing his belly. Sammy loves piano music, chasing rabbits and exploring in the woods.
