Ordering with Amish Country Furnishings is easy – you can order online, by phone or fax or in person at our Dublin, Ohio retail store.
You can browse through our online store and change options such as woods and stains as you like. If you would like to order simply add the items to your cart and follow the menu prompts to provide your contact and payment information. Shipping information will be provided automatically in some cases – in other instances a salesperson may have to contact you to verify shipping costs. Furthermore, with our secure link the payment information you provide to us is protected.
Ordering by Phone
If you have browsed online but just prefer to speak to a “real person”, or if you have already visited the showroom and have all the information you need we will be happy to take your phone order. Just call 614-791-8525 (locally) or 800-803-1144 (long distance) during store hours. We will collect your information over the phone, including a deposit placed by credit card, and will email or hardcopy mail copies of your confirmed order to you. You may also fax inquiries or orders to us at 614-791-8595.
Ordering in Person
Orders are taken in our store located at 7600 Fishel Drive North in Dublin, Ohio during our posted store hours. Placing your order in person gives you the benefit of viewing the actual pieces, options and stains so you can make a more accurate selection.
Methods of Payment
We accept cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover. We require a 50% deposit when an order is taken. The balance is due upon delivery or customer pick-up. Orders will not be scheduled until a deposit has been received, and we cannot release furniture until final payment has been made. (Our delivery persons are equipped to accept final payment at your home via any of the methods listed above when they arrive to deliver your furniture. In the case of contract or out-of area deliveries we ask for final payment at the time furniture is released by us to the shipping agent.)
Packing & Shipping
In addition to our local delivery service, we also ship anywhere in the world via outside carriers. Each item that is delivered via an outside carrier is carefully packed and crated. Our outside carriers provide a range of delivery services depending on your needs: curbside only, inside residential, inside residential with set-up, and inside residential with set-up and removal of crates. There are many variables to consider when having your furniture shipped. We may have some items in stock, but due to the number of options we offer on most pieces, it is impossible for us to stock all of them. Therefore, much of our business is done on an order basis. Orders can take anywhere from 2 to 18 weeks for completion, depending on the item. But a number of our most popular items have “quick-ship” availability where they can be made available for shipping or delivery within 2-4 weeks. At the time you place your order we can provide a closer estimate of the completion date. Most of our customers seem to agree that getting a piece of furniture that's made to their specifications and that will last a lifetime is worth the wait!
Delivery & Local Pick-Ups
We offer delivery service for $55.00 within a 20-mile radius of our store. Additional distances are available at $2.75/mile. Delivery comes from our store in Dublin via our own trucks and is delivered by our own staff. All furniture is blanket wrapped and placed in your home at the location(s) you choose. Set-up and an initial dusting are also included! Our days of delivery vary with the workload, but we will try to schedule your delivery at a time that is mutually agreeable. Wall units and other items requiring greater amounts of set-up time (such as large entertainment centers, bedroom suites, etc.) may be subject to an additional delivery charge. We frequently get compliments on how careful and courteous our delivery drivers are and we feel this is simply an extension of your buying experience with us.
For pick-ups, we encourage our customers to bring a vehicle that can safely accommodate the piece(s), as well as sufficient padding and tie-down material to secure the item(s). Old blankets or comforters of decent thickness will go a long way toward protecting your furniture. We'll be happy to load and secure your furniture for you.
Choosing furniture or accessories for someone else's home can be an exercise in frustration. To take the guesswork out of giving, we are happy to provide gift certificates, available in any increment of twenty-five dollars ($25), and with an expiration date of one year from date of purchase.
